The product
Beggar is a multiplayer card game for three to six players, with a progression from Beggar to King. My work includes contributing to this Globevik product, combining a Flutter interface with a live multiplayer experience.
What it brings together
- Real-time card matches for three to six players
- A skill-based game loop and rank progression
- A Flutter-based interface for a cross-platform codebase
- A publicly available Android release on Google Play
The engineering perspective
A multiplayer interface needs to make the shared state understandable: whose turn it is, which cards are in play, and what happens next. Beggar is an example of mobile work where interaction design and responsive state updates are central to the experience.
