E-Commerce Mobile App
A full-featured mobile shopping experience built from scratch.
The Problem
The client had a growing Shopify store but needed a dedicated mobile app to improve customer retention and enable push notifications. Their previous developer abandoned the project mid-way, leaving an unusable codebase.
What I Built
Built a cross-platform React Native app from the ground up with product browsing, search, cart management, Stripe payment integration, and push notifications. Implemented a Node.js API layer that syncs with their existing Shopify inventory in real-time.
The Result
Launched within the 6-week deadline. The client reported a 40% increase in repeat purchases within the first month. Published on both Google Play and App Store. The client returned for two follow-up feature updates.
